A Shiva Temple is under construction in the mountains of Western North Carolina.

Through strict adherence to ancient Vedic principles, Sri Somesvara Temple is dedicated to the practice of Vedic technology and the enlightenment of humanity. Constructed with over 50 tons of hand-carved granite from South India, Sri Somesvara Temple will be consecrated May 16, 2011.
